Minor flooding is no longer occurring at Peets Bridge following a minor flood peak early Sunday morning. Minor flooding is no longer expected at Gordonvale, with a below minor flood peak observed early Sunday morning. Further showers are forecast during Sunday which may produce renewed river level rises below the minor flood level. Mulgrave River: Minor flooding eased along the Mulgrave River. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge peaked at 5.49 m around 02:00 am Sunday 22 March, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 3.99 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge is likely to remain below the minor flood level (5.00 m). The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale is currently at 10.75 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale is expected to remain below the minor flood level (12.00 m). Russell River: River levels are falling along the Russell River.
