Further rainfall is forecast during the remainder of Monday and into Tuesday. This has caused river and creek level rises, and minor flooding is occurring along the Onkaparinga River at Oakbank. Minor flooding is likely at Woodside from late Monday evening. Upper Onkaparinga River above Verdun: Minor flooding is occurring along the Upper Onkaparinga River above Verdun. The Onkaparinga River at Woodside is currently at 1.99 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Onkaparinga River at Woodside may exceed the minor flood level (2.00 m) late Monday evening. The Onkaparinga River at Oakbank is currently at 1.17 m and rising, with minor flooding. The Onkaparinga River at Oakbank may remain above the minor flood level (1.17 m) overnight Monday and into Tuesday. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
