for Heavy, Locally Intense Rainfall
for parts of North East Pastoral district.

HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE NORTH EAST PASTORAL WITH LOCALLY INTENSE RAINFALL POSSIBLE, MORE LIKELY IN THE FAR NORTHEAST.
Weather Situation
A rich tropical airmass extends over the centre of the country with a surface trough extending through northeast parts of the state. Meanwhile an upper trough is moving across central parts of SA. This combination is continuing to bring the risk of heavy rainfall to northeastern parts of the state through today and Wednesday.
HEAVY, LOCALLY INTENSE RAINFALL for the following areas:
North East Pastoral
HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is forecast for parts of the North East Pastoral district today. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 50 and 80 mm are likely.
INTENSE RAINFALL which may lead to DANGEROUS AND LIFE-THREATENING FLASH FLOODING is locally possible within the warning area, more likely in central parts of the North East Pastoral district. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 80 and 100 mm are likely, with falls up to 120 mm possible. 24-hourly rainfall totals between 80 and 120 mm are likely, with isolated falls around 140 mm possible.
INTENSE RAINFALL may begin to ease from early Wednesday morning, with broader conditions expected to ease during Wednesday afternoon.

Locations which may be affected include Moomba, Innamincka, Arkaroola, the area east of Lake Frome, Mungeranie on the Birdsville Track and the Strzelecki Track south of Moomba.
110.2 mm was recorded at Marree Aero in the 12 hours to 4:45 am.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water;
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains;
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
The next Severe Weather Warning will be issued by 11:00 pm ACDT Tuesday.
