Issued at 10:58 pm Friday, 15 May 2026. Severe thunderstorms have eased in the eastern parts of the North West Pastoral and northern parts of the Eyre Peninsula. Weather Situation A cloud band with embedded thunderstorms is moving through central parts of the state. It produced heavier rainfalls in the first part of the evening, but has now eased. cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning for the following areas: West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Flinders and North West Pastoral This warning is now cancelled. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Keep clear of fallen power lines. * Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road. * Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water. * Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
