Weather Situation Severe thunderstorms are continuing in a favourable environment ahead of a surface trough in western parts of the state. Thunderstorms are expected to move east throughout the evening. DAMAGING WINDS, LARGE HAILSTONES and HEAVY RAINFALL for the following areas: West Coast and North West Pastoral Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding over the next several hours in parts of the West Coast and southern parts of the North West Pastoral districts. Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds over the next several hours in central parts of the North West Pastoral district. Locations which may be affected include Oak Valley. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Secure or put away loose items around your property. * Move cars under cover or away from trees. * Keep clear of fallen power lines. * Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water. * Keep clear of creeks and storm drains. * Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
