for parts of North East Pastoral district.

Morning thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall are occurring this morning in the north.
Weather Situation
An upper trough combined with a moist environment is producing heavy rainfall in the north this morning.
HEAVY RAINFALL for the following areas:
North East Pastoral
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Arkaroola, the area east of Lake Frome and the Strzelecki Track south of Moomba.
46.6mm was recorded at the Gammon Ranges in the 2 hours to 7:05am.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
The next warning is due to be issued by 10:55 am.
