MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT KIMBERLEY FRIDAY MORNING
River level rises are occurring along the Mersey River and minor flooding may develop during Friday morning.
Mersey River - Liena to Kimberley:
Minor flooding possible along the Mersey River Liena to Kimberley.
The Mersey River at Kimberley is currently at 1.90 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Mersey River at Kimberley is likely to exceed the minor flood level (2.40 m) Friday morning. The river may peak near 2.70 m Friday afternoon, with minor flooding.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
