MINOR FLOODING PEAKING AT KIMBERLEY
Rainfall over the past two days has caused river level rises along the Mersey River. Minor flooding is peaking at Kimberley.
Mersey River - Liena to Kimberley:
Minor flooding occurring along the Mersey River Liena to Kimberley.
The Mersey River at Kimberley is currently peaking at 2.51 m, above the minor flooding.
The Mersey River at Kimberley may fall below the minor flood level (2.40 m) Friday evening.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
