Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Initial Minor Flood Warning For The North Esk River Issued at 03:24 PM AEST on Tuesday 16 June 2026 Flood Warning Number: 1 MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CORRA LINN FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING WITH FORECAST RAINFALL Since Monday, rainfall totals of up to 13mm have been recorded in the North Esk River catchment. Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Tuesday into Wednesday, which is likely to cause river level rises along the North Esk River. Minor flooding may occur along the lower North Esk River at Corra Linn from Wednesday morning with forecast rainfall. Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn: Minor flooding may occur along the North Esk River from Wednesday morning. The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 1.75 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The North Esk River at Corra Linn may reach around the minor flood level (2.70 m) Wednesday morning. Further rises are possible. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
