Further downstream, minor flooding may be occurring at Wanaaring. Renewed rises are likely at Willara Crossing and Wanaaring over the coming weeks as flows from renewed upstream rises arrive. Further rainfall remains possible across the catchment over the next few days, which may lead to further river level rises, combined with the arrival of upstream flows. A minor flood warning is current for the Paroo River in Queensland. Paroo River (NSW): Minor flooding is occurring at Willara Crossing, and may be occurring at Wanaaring. The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is currently peaking around 1.41 m, with minor flooding. The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is likely to remain above the minor flood level during Sunday and Monday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive. No recent observations are available for the Paroo River at Wanaaring, however the river level may be around the minor flood level. The Paroo River at Wanaaring may remain around the minor flood level (2.40 m) during Sunday and into Monday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
