This peak may result in moderate flooding downstream at Stonehenge from Tuesday and at Jundah from Wednesday. Further upstream, another peak is around Muttaburra and may result in minor flooding at Camoola Park from late Monday and Longreach from around Wednesday. The main flood peak along Jordan Creek has passed into the Alice River. Minor flooding is slowly easing at Jericho and at Barcaldine. Further areas of rainfall and showers are forecast over parts of the catchment over the next few days which may contribute to additional river level rises. The situation is being monitored and the warning will be updated as required. Thomson River: Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is possible along the Thomson River and its tributaries. There are no recent observations available for the Thomson River at Camoola Park, however, the river level is expected to be below the minor flood level (2.00 m) and rising slowly. The Thomson River at Camoola Park may exceed the minor flood level (2.00 m) late Monday. Further rises are likely as upstream flows arrive. The Thomson River at Longreach is currently at 2.94 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Thomson River at Longreach is likely to remain below the minor flood level (3.30 m) for the next few days. The river may reach around the minor flood level (3.30 m) from Wednesday. Further rises are likely as upstream flows arrive. The Thomson River at Stonehenge is currently at 2.50 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Thomson River at Stonehenge may reach around the moderate flood level (3.00 m) from Tuesday. Further rises are likely as upstream flows arrive. The Thomson River at Jundah is currently at 1.88 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Thomson River at Jundah may exceed the minor flood level (2.50 m) during Tuesday. Barcoo River to Isisford: Minor flooding is easing along the Jordan Creek and Alice River. No observations are currently available for the Jordan Creek at Jericho.
