MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT YATTON OVERNIGHT MONDAY INTO TUESDAY
Moderate to heavy rainfall totals has been observed over the northeast part of the Fitzroy River Catchment since early Sunday morning, this has resulted in river and creek level rises along the upper tributaries of the Connors and Isaac Rivers catchment. Minor flooding is expected to develop along the Isaac River at Yatton from Monday afternoon, further rises and moderate flooding is likely at Yatton overnight Monday into Tuesday.
This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Connors and Isaac Rivers:
Moderate flooding is likely along the Connors and Isaac Rivers overnight Monday into Tuesday.
The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 1.91 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Isaac River at Yatton is expected to exceed the minor flood level (7.50 m) Monday afternoon. The river is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (9.50 m) overnight Monday into Tuesday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
