Minor flooding is occurring at Gympie, and Moderate flooding is occurring at Miva and Tiaro. Minor flooding is possible at Maryborough from Monday morning with high tide. Mary River to Gympie: Minor flooding is occurring along the Mary River to Gympie. No observations are currently available for the Mary River at Dagun Pocket, however the river level is expected to be above the minor flood level and around a peak. The Mary River at Dagun Pocket is likely to remain above the minor flood level (7.00 m) overnight Sunday into Monday. The river is currently at 10.06 m and peaking with minor flooding. The Mary River at Gympie may remain above the minor flood level (6.00 m) early Tuesday morning. Six Mile Creek: Minor flooding is occurring along Six Mile Creek at Cooran Alert. Mary River downstream of Gympie: Moderate flooding is occurring along the Mary River downstream of Gympie. The Mary River at Miva peaked at 12.47 m at around 09:30 pm Sunday 25 October, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 12.27 m and falling, with moderate flooding. The Mary River at Miva may remain above the moderate flood level (9.50 m) until Tuesday morning. The Mary River at Tiaro peaked at 11.14 m at around 07:00 pm Sunday 25 October, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 10.69 m and falling, with moderate flooding. The Mary River at Tiaro may remain above the moderate flood level (8.00 m) until Tuesday morning. The Mary River at Maryborough (Portside) is currently at 3.65 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Mary River at Maryborough (Portside) may reach around the minor flood level (5.00 m) from Monday morning with high tide. Tinana Creek: Minor flooding is occurring along Tinana Creek at Tagigan Road. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
