River level rises and minor flooding is possible at Flinton Town from Sunday, and from overnight Saturday into Sunday at Nindigully. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall. Moonie River to Flinton: Minor flooding is possible along the Moonie River to Flinton. The Moonie River at Flinton Town is currently at 2.08 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Moonie River at Flinton Town may peak near the minor flood level (3.00 m) Saturday evening. Moonie River downstream of Flinton: Minor flooding is possible along the Moonie River downstream of Flinton. The Moonie River at Nindigully is currently at 2.15 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Moonie River at Nindigully may exceed the minor flood level (2.20 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday. The river may reach around 2.60 m mid-next week with minor flooding. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
