Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Minor Flood Warning For The North Esk River Issued at 02:34 PM AEST on Thursday 18 June 2026 Flood Warning Number: 4 MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CORRA LINN FRIDAY MORNING WITH FORECAST RAINFALL River levels are falling slightly along the North Esk River after below minor peaks Wednesday night in response to mid-week rainfall. Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Thursday and on Friday, which is likely to cause renewed river level rises. Minor flooding may develop along the North Esk River Friday morning. Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn: Minor flooding may occur along the North Esk River overnight Thursday into Friday. The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 2.09 m and falling, below the minor flood level. With forecast rainfall renewed river level rises are likely along the North Esk River at Corra Linn. River levels may reach around the minor flood level (2.70 m) Friday morning. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
