MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT JUDBURY AND HUONVILLE THURSDAY EVENING. Areas of moderate rainfall have been recorded over the Huon River catchment since Wednesday evening. River level rises are occurring across parts of the catchment, with a minor flood peak observed at Tahune Bridge Thursday morning. Minor flooding is possible at Judbury Thursday evening, and at Huonville Thursday evening with the high tide. Showers are expected to ease during the remainder of Thursday. Huon River above Tahune: River levels are falling along the Huon River above Tahune. Picton River: River levels are likely to be falling along the Picton River. Huon River - Tahune to Judbury: Minor flooding is occurring along the Huon River - Tahune to Judbury. The Huon River at Tahune Bridge peaked at 4.67 m around 11:00 am Thursday 4 June, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 4.37 m and falling, with minor flooding. The Huon River at Tahune Bridge is likely to fall below the minor flood level (4.00 m) Thursday evening. The Huon River at Judbury is currently at 3.96 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Huon River at Judbury is likely to peak near the minor flood level (4.00 m) Thursday evening. Huon River around Huonville: Minor flooding is possible along the Huon River around Huonville. The Huon River at Huonville is currently at 2.74 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Huon River at Huonville may peak near the minor flood level (3.00 m) Thursday evening, with the high tide.
