Cancellation Of Severe Weather Warning
for North East and East Coast Forecast Districts.
Issued at 10:05 am Sunday, 14 December 2025.
Damaging winds have eased over the east and northeast of the state.
Weather Situation
A cold front moved across the state earlier this morning. Behind the front, gusty west to southwesterly winds are expected to continue throughout the remainder of the day and into Monday morning, but they are no longer expected to be severe.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Supervise children closely.
* Do not walk, ride or drive through flood waters.
* Beware of damaged trees and power lines and take care when driving.
* Listen to the ABC radio or check www.ses.tas.gov.au for further advice.
* For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132500.
No further warnings will be issued for this event.
