Rainfall is forecast to continue for the reminder of Monday into Tuesday, which may result in further river level rises and areas of flooding along the Broken River. The situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required. Broken River to Benalla: Minor flooding is occurring along the Broken River to Benalla. The Broken River at Benalla is currently at 3.43 m and rising, with minor flooding. The Broken River at Benalla may reach around the moderate flood level (3.70 m) Monday afternoon. Broken River Benalla to Casey Weir: Minor flooding is possible along the Broken River from Benalla to Casey Weir. The Broken River at Casey Weir is currently at 1.20 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Broken River at Casey Weir may reach around the minor flood level (2.10 m) Monday evening. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
