Cancellation of Coastal Hazard Warning
for East Gippsland and West and South Gippsland Forecast Districts.
Issued at 3:04 am Friday, 5 June 2026.
The threat of abnormally high tides across Gippsland coasts has passed.
Weather Situation
A deep low pressure system has moved further east into the Tasman Sea. With strong to gale-force west to southwesterly winds easing through the day and the overnight high tide having passed, elevated sea levels across eastern coastlines are no longer a threat.

East Gippsland and West and South Gippsland
This warning is now cancelled.

The Victoria State Emergency Service and Life Saving Victoria advise that people should be aware of the following:
