Flooding has eased along the Upper Werribee River at Ballan after a minor flood peak Friday morning. Showers are forecast for the remainder of Friday and are expected to ease by the weekend. Upper Werribee River: Flooding has eased at Ballan. The Werribee River at Ballan peaked at 2.03 m around 08:30 am Friday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 1.54 m and falling, below the minor level. The Werribee River at Ballan is expected to remain below the minor flood level (1.60 m). Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
