Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Minor Flood Warning For The Goulburn River Issued at 09:05 PM AEST on Tuesday 30 June 2026 Flood Warning Number: 2 MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT SEYMOUR Moderate rainfall since Monday has caused river and creek level rises in the Goulburn River catchment, where minor flooding is occurring at Seymour. A minor flood peak is expected at Seymour overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Widespread rainfall is forecast to continue through to Friday, which is likely to result in further and renewed rises and areas of flooding across the Goulburn River catchment. A Flood Watch is current for Parts of North East and Central Victoria. Yea River: River level rises are occurring along the Yea River. King Parrot Creek: River level rises are occurring along the King Parrot Creek. Sunday Creek: River level rises are occurring along the Sunday Creek. Goulburn River Lake Eildon to Seymour: Minor flooding is occurring along the Goulburn River Lake Eildon to Seymour. The Goulburn River at Seymour is currently at 4.39 m and rising, with minor flooding. The Goulburn River at Seymour may peak near 4.90 m overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, with minor flooding. The river may remain above the minor flood level (3.80 m) until Wednesday afternoon. Hughes Creek: Minor flooding is occurring along Hughes Creek at Tarcombe Rd. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
