Further upstream, a second flood peak at the Loddon Weir (TW) is moving downstream, where minor flooding is occurring. Renewed rises are expected at Appin South as this second flood peak arrives next week. Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir: Minor flooding has eased along the Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservoir. Minor flooding is occurring at Loddon Weir (TW). The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservior (TW) is currently at 1.41 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservior (TW) is expected to remain below the minor flood level (1.50 m). Loddon River Loddon Weir to Kerang: Minor flooding is occurring along the Loddon River Loddon Weir (TW) to Kerang. The Loddon River at Appin South peaked at 3.09 m around 09:00 pm Thursday 27 August, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 3.05 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Loddon River at Appin South is likely to remain above the minor flood level (2.80 m) across the weekend and into next week. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
