Minor flooding is likely to ease at Charlton Town overnight Saturday into Sunday and during Saturday evening at Charlton Downstream. Renewed river level rises and minor flooding are possible at Quambatook early next week as upstream flows arrive. Avoca River to Charlton Town: Minor flooding is occurring at Charlton Town. The Avoca River at Charlton Town is currently at 4.40 m and falling, with minor flooding. The Avoca River at Charlton Town is likely to fall below the minor flood level (4.00 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday. Avoca River downstream of Charlton Town: Minor flooding is occurring at Charlton Downstream and has eased at Quambatook with renewed minor flooding possible. The Avoca River at Quambatook is currently at 1.65 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Avoca River at Quambatook is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.00 m) during the weekend. Renewed river level rises to near the minor flood level are possible early next week as upstream flows arrive.
