Further downstream, minor flooding may occur at Quambatook Monday morning. Avoca River to Charlton Town: Minor flooding is occurring at Charlton Town. Flooding is no longer occurring at Charlton D/S. The Avoca River at Charlton Town peaked at 6.39 m around 10:15 pm Thursday, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 4.14 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Avoca River at Charlton Town may remain above the minor flood level (4.00 m) for the remainder of Saturday and into Sunday. Avoca River downstream of Charlton Town: Minor flooding is possible at Quambatook. The Avoca River at Quambatook is currently at 0.54 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Avoca River at Quambatook may reach around the minor flood level (2.00 m) Monday morning. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
