Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder on Monday and into Tuesday. The situation is being closely monitored and warnings will be issued as required. A Flood Watch is current for parts of the Top End, Barkly and Tanami Districts and Gulf of Carpentaria Rivers. Waterhouse River: Flooding is no longer expected along the Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge. The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is currently at 7.04 m and steady around a peak, below the minor flood level. The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is likely to remain below the minor flood level (7.7 m). Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
