This rainfall is likely to result in river level rises. Minor flooding is possible at Kimberley overnight Wednesday into Thursday with forecast rainfall. The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be updated as required. Mersey River - Liena to Kimberley: Minor flooding is possible along the Mersey River at Kimberley. The Mersey River at Kimberley is currently at 1.18 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Mersey River at Kimberley may reach around the minor flood level (2.40 m) overnight Wednesday into Thursday, with forecast rainfall. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
