RIVER LEVELS PEAKING JUST BELOW MINOR AT LISMORE
Moderate to heavy rainfall since Sunday night has led to river level rises along the Wilsons River. At Lismore, the river level is around a peak just below the minor flood level. Rainfall has eased, and no further heavy rainfall is expected.
Wilsons River:
Minor flooding is no longer expected along the Wilsons River.
The Wilsons River at Lismore is currently at 3.79 m AHD and steady around a peak, below the minor flood level.
The Wilsons River at Lismore is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.20 m AHD).
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
