for Northern Rivers and Northern Tablelands Forecast Districts.

Weather Situation
A cold front combines with humid and unstable atmospheric conditions to promote thunderstorms across parts of northeast New South Wales today.
cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning for the following areas:
Northern Rivers and Northern Tablelands
This warning is now cancelled, however further severe thunderstorms are possible today and the situation will continue to be monitored.
49 mm was recorded at Glen Innes Research Station in 1 hour to 1:45 pm.
49 mm was recorded at Riverstone (Macintyre River) in 1 hour to 11:45 am.
50.0 mm was recorded at Inverell in 1 hour to 11:36 am
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
