Another flood peak is around Cairwarro where renewed rises and minor flooding is occurring, which is likely to cause renewed rises and minor flooding further downstream at Hungerford from Monday. Further rainfall is forecast across the catchment during the next few days, which may lead to additional river level rises. A Minor Flood Warning is current for the Paroo River in NSW. Paroo River downstream of Eulo: Minor flooding is occurring at Hungerford. The Paroo River at Hungerford is currently at 1.01 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Paroo River at Hungerford is likely to remain around the minor flood level (1.00 m) during Sunday and into early Monday. Renewed rises are likely from Monday as flows arrive from upstream. The river may reach around 1.30 m during Tuesday, with minor flooding. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
