Showers and thunderstorms remain possible over the next few days, which may cause small renewed river level rises in parts of the catchment, but are not expected to significantly impact current river levels along the Fitzroy River. Fitzroy River: Flooding is no longer occurring along the Fitzroy River. No observations are currently available for the Fitzroy River at Yaamba. Based on the downstream gauge at South Yaamba, the river level is expected to be below the minor flood level and falling. The Fitzroy River at Yaamba is expected to remain below the minor flood level (9.00 m). The Fitzroy River at Rockhampton is expected to remain below the minor flood level (7.00 m).
