This is likely to result in river and creek level rises. With forecast rainfall, minor flooding is possible at Pacific Haven and Howard from overnight Sunday into Monday. A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland. A Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall is current. Burrum and Cherwell Rivers: Minor flooding is possible at Howard and Pacific Haven. The Burrum River at Howard is currently at 4.86 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Burrum River at Howard may exceed the minor flood level (6.00 m) overnight Sunday into Monday. Further rises are possible with forecast rain. The Cherwell River at Pacific Haven is currently at 0.94 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Cherwell River at Pacific Haven may exceed the minor flood level (2.50 m) Monday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.
