Moderate flooding is occurring at Bowen Pump Station, with a moderate flood peak possible during Saturday afternoon. Further rainfall is forecast across the catchment for the remainder of Saturday and into Sunday, which may lead to renewed river level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required. A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland. Don River: Moderate flooding is occurring along the Don River. The Don River at Bowen Pump Station is currently at 4.60 m and rising, with moderate flooding. The Don River at Bowen Pump Station may peak near 4.80 m Saturday afternoon, with moderate flooding. The river may remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) for the remainder of Saturday. Proserpine River: River level rises are occurring in the Proserpine River catchment. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
