MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT GLENEAGLE
MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT ABERGOWRIE BRIDGE
Recent rainfall over the Herbert catchment has resulted in creek and river level rises. Minor flooding may to continue at Gleneagle for the remainder of Saturday and into Sunday.
Showers are forecast over the next few days but are unlikely to cause significant renewed river rises.
Herbert River to Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Herbert River to Nash's Crossing.
No observations are currently available for the Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, it is estimated that the river level at Gleneagle Homestead is currently above the minor flood level and falling.
The Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead may remain above the minor flood level (4.50 m) for the remainder of Saturday and into Sunday.
Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is no longer expected along the Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing at Abergowrie Bridge.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is currently at 4.77 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is likely to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m).
