MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT GLENEAGLE AND POSSIBLE AT ABERGOWRIE BRIDGE WITH RENEWED RISES
Minor flooding is occurring at Gleneagle and possible at Abergowrie Bridge with small renewed rises. Flooding is no longer occurring at Halifax.
Herbert River to Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is expected to be occurring at Gleneagle.
No observations are currently available for the Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is expected to be above the minor flood level and steady.
The Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead may remain above the minor flood level (4.50 m) overnight Thursday into Friday.
Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is possible at Abergowrie Bridge.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is currently at 4.87 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
Renewed rises are occurring along the Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge and the river level may peak near the minor flood level (6.00 m) from Thursday evening.
The Herbert River at Halifax is currently at 2.56 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Herbert River at Halifax is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
