MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT TEWANTIN AND PALMVIEW MONDAY EVENING ON THE HIGH TIDE
Moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Monday and into Tuesday over the Maroochy and Noosa River catchments which is likely to cause river level rises and minor flooding across the catchment.
A Flood Watch for most of Queensland is current. A Severe Weather Warning for heavy, locally intense rainfall and damaging winds is current.
Noosa River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Noosa River at Tewantin.
The Noosa River at Tewantin is currently at 0.92 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Noosa River at Tewantin may exceed the minor flood level (1.00 m) Monday evening on the high tide. The river may remain around the minor flood level (1.00 m) for the next few days.
Mooloolah River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Mooloolah River.
The Mooloolah River at Palmview is currently at 4.02 m AHD and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Mooloolah River at Palmview may reach around the minor flood level (4.50 m AHD) Monday evening on the high tide.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
