Levels along the Baffle Creek are rising, with minor flooding likely at Essendean Bridge from overnight Saturday and moderate flooding possible from Sunday morning. Further moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast for the next few days, which may result in further rises. This situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required. A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland. Baffle Creek: Moderate flooding is possible along the Baffle Creek at Essendean Bridge. The Baffle Creek at Essendean Bridge is currently at 0.97 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Baffle Creek at Essendean Bridge is likely to exceed the minor flood level (5.00 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday. The creek may reach around the moderate flood level (6.20 m) Sunday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rain. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
