MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT THARGOMINDAH OVERNIGHT MONDAY INTO TUESDAY
Rainfall across the Bulloo River catchment during last week has resulted in river level rises along the Bulloo River. Minor flooding is occurring along the lower Bulloo River at Autumnvale and downstream to Thargomindah.
Minor flooding at Autumnvale is peaking, with a moderate peak possible downstream at Thargomindah overnight Monday into Tuesday.
Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie:
River levels are elevated along the Bulloo River around Autumnvale and downstream, with moderate flooding possible at Thargomindah.
The Bulloo River at Thargomindah is currently at 4.37 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Bulloo River at Thargomindah may peak near 4.60 m overnight Monday into Tuesday, with moderate flooding.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
