Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Initial Minor Flood Warning For The Connors And Isaac Rivers Issued at 12:12 PM AEST on Saturday 07 March 2026 Flood Warning Number: 1 MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT YATTON OVERNIGHT SUNDAY INTO MONDAY Moderate to heavy rainfall has been observed across parts of the Connors and Isaac Rivers. Rainfall has been particularly heavy across the Funnel Creek catchment, where river levels are rising rapidly. Minor flooding may develop along the Isaac River at Yatton overnight Sunday into Monday. Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of the weekend and into next week. Higher and earlier river level rises are possible, depending on the timing and intensity of rainfall. A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland Connors and Isaac Rivers: Minor flooding is possible at Yatton with further rises possible with forecast rain. The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 4.18 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Isaac River at Yatton may exceed the minor flood level (7.50 m) overnight Sunday into Monday. Further rises are possible with forecast rain. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
