The latest flood peak continues to move along the lower Flinders River, and renewed rises are occurring at Walkers Bend. No significant rainfall totals are forecast over the next few days. Flinders River downstream of Richmond: Major flooding is continuing along the Flinders River downstream of Richmond. The Flinders River at Walkers Bend is currently at 8.27 m and steady, with major flooding. The Flinders River at Walkers Bend is likely to remain above the major flood level (8.00 m) during the remainder of Tuesday and into Wednesday. A major flood peak is likely to occur from mid this week. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
