Minor flooding is easing slowly at Quilpie, which may fall below the minor flood level Sunday night. As floodwaters move downstream, minor flooding is possible at Thargomindah from Monday night. Showers and thunderstorms remain possible into next week, which may lead to renewed river level rises and flooding. The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be updated if necessary. Bulloo River to Quilpie: Minor flooding is easing along the Bulloo River at Quilpie. The Bulloo River at Quilpie is currently at 3.11 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Bulloo River at Quilpie may fall below the minor flood level (3.00 m) overnight Sunday into Monday. Renewed rises are possible with forecast rain. Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie: Minor flooding is possible along the Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie. The Bulloo River at Thargomindah is currently at 3.28 m, below the minor flood level. The Bulloo River at Thargomindah may exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) overnight Monday into Tuesday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
