River levels at Wanaaring are also elevated where minor flooding is possible from early next week. Further rainfall is possible across the catchment over the next few days, which may lead to further river level rises. A minor flood warning is current for the Paroo River in Queensland. Paroo River (NSW): Minor flooding is occurring at Willara Crossing, and may develop at Wanaaring from early next week. The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is currently at 1.29 m and steady, with minor flooding. Renewed river level rises are expected at Willara Crossing. The Paroo River at Willara Crossing may reach around 1.60 m later in the week, with minor flooding. The Paroo River at Wanaaring is currently at 2.24 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Paroo River at Wanaaring may reach around the minor flood level (2.40 m) early next week. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
