Creek levels at Bedourie fell below the moderate flood level during Thursday and are expected fall below the minor flood level during Friday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast in the catchment over the weekend and into next week, with isolated moderate to heavy rainfall possible, however this is not expected to have a significant impact on current river and creek levels. Eyre Creek: Moderate flooding is continuing along Eyre Creek around Glengyle. Minor flooding is estimated to be continuing along King Creek at Cluny. The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is currently at 3.53 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is expected to fall below the minor flood level (3.50 m) during Friday. No currently creek level observations are available for the Eyre Creek at Glengyle. The creek level is estimated to be above the moderate flood level (3.00 m) and steady. The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (3.00 m) over the weekend. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
