for Heavy, Locally Intense Rainfall
for parts of Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East and North East Pastoral districts.

HEAVY, LOCALLY INTENSE RAINFALL THROUGH EASTERN PARTS OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA TONIGHT
Weather Situation
A low pressure system is located in the north of the state. An extremely humid tropical airmass is wrapping around the eastern and southern flank of this low, extending into central and southern parts of the state. A trough over southern South Australia is interacting with the tropical airmass, increasing the risk of heavy, locally intense falls, particularly in the far east.
HEAVY, LOCALLY INTENSE RAINFALL for the following areas:
Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East and North East Pastoral
HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is likely about northern and eastern parts of the state tonight, with the risk gradually clearing from the west and easing into Monday morning. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 35 and 55 mm are likely.
Locally INTENSE RAINFALL which may lead to DANGEROUS AND LIFE-THREATENING FLASH FLOODING is possible throughout the warning area with thunderstorms, however is most likely about the eastern Flinders, eastern Mid North, southern North East Pastoral and Riverland forecast districts. Similarly, the risk will gradually clear from the west and ease through Monday morning. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 70 to 100 mm are possible.

Locations which may be affected include Renmark, Lameroo, Arkaroola, Olary, Loxton and Berri.
Severe weather is no longer occurring in the Mount Lofty Ranges, Flinders, Mid North, Lower South East and North West Pastoral districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.
93.6 MM OF RAINFALL WAS RECORDED AT GAMMON RANGES IN THE 12 HOURS TO 9:21 PM.
42.8 MM OF RAINFALL WAS RECOREDED AT WATERLOO EAST (SCHUTZ ROAD) IN THE 2 HOURS TO 6:40 PM.
41.4 mm of rainfall was recorded at Coolami in the 6 hours to 10:15 pm.
21 mm of rainfall was recorded at Clare in the 45 minutes to 4:05 pm.
43 mm of rainfall was recorded at Loxton in the 3 hours to 7:52 am.
58.4 mm of rainfall was recorded at Yunta in the 6 hours to 4:45 am.
Cancellation for the following areas:
Lower South East,Mid North,Flinders,North West Pastoral,Mount Lofty Ranges
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water;
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains;
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
The next Severe Weather Warning will be issued by 5:00 am ACDT Monday.
