for Damaging Winds
for parts of Mount Lofty Ranges, West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Murraylands and North East Pastoral districts.

Damaging winds affecting parts of South Australia overnight and into Tuesday.
Weather Situation
Damaging westerly winds are forecast to impact parts of the western coastline, Mt Lofty and Flinders ranges overnight and into Tuesday, as a deep low pressure system moves eastward across the Bight.
DAMAGING WINDS for the following areas:
Mount Lofty Ranges, West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Murraylands and North East Pastoral
For WESTERN COASTAL AREAS: Strong winds averaging 50 to 60 km/h with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS of around 90 km/h are possible about parts of the West Coast and Lower Eyre Peninsula overnight, easing before sunrise.
For FLINDERS RANGES AND MOUNT LOFTY RANGES: DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts of around 100 km/h are likely from early Tuesday morning, easing by Tuesday evening.

Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Strathalbyn, Maitland, Whyalla, Mount Gambier, Ceduna and Port Augusta.
Severe weather is no longer occurring in the Adelaide Metropolitan, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Riverland, Upper South East, Lower South East and North West Pastoral districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.
Sustained 68 km/h winds were recorded at Port Pirie Airport at 12:30 pm.
90 km/h wind gust was recorded at Port Pirie Airport at 11:47 am.
Sustained 68 km/h winds were recorded at Warburto Point (near Moonta) around 8:15 am.
94 km/h wind gust was recorded at Cleve at 7:07 am.

Yorke Peninsula,Kangaroo Island,Upper South East,Lower South East,Riverland,Eastern Eyre Peninsula,North West Pastoral,Adelaide Metropolitan
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
The next Severe Weather Warning will be issued by 5:00 am ACST Tuesday.
