Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology South Australia Warning to Sheep Graziers for Mount Lofty Ranges, West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, Lower South East and North West Pastoral forecast districts Issued at 10:36 PM CDT on Saturday 24 October 2026 Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas: Mount Lofty Ranges, West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, Lower South East and North West Pastoral forecast districts Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and southwesterly winds are expected during Saturday and Sunday. Areas likely to be affected include the Mount Lofty Ranges, West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Mid North, Murraylands, Upper South East and Lower South East forecast districts and parts of the Lower Eyre Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Riverland and North West Pastoral forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions. The next warning will be issued by 5:00 am CDT Sunday.
