Issued at 4:52 pm Wednesday, 18 March 2026. Heavy rainfall no longer expected across the North East Pastoral. Weather Situation The upper trough that has been affecting eastern parts of SA is clearing to the east. This combined with a drier and more stable airmass gradually moving into the area has led to an end of the heavy rainfall risk. cancellation of severe weather warning for the following areas: North East Pastoral This warning is now cancelled. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Keep clear of fallen power lines; * Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road. * Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water. * Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
