River level rises have been observed along the Mulgrave and Russell Rivers. River levels are likely to exceed minor flood levels along the Mulgrave River Sunday morning. Moderate flooding is possible at Peets Bridge Sunday morning. Mulgrave River: Moderate flooding possible along the Mulgrave River. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge is currently at 3.41 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge is likely to exceed the minor flood level (5.00 m) early Sunday morning. The river may exceed the moderate flood level (7.00 m) Sunday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rain. The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale is currently at 9.25 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale is likely to exceed the minor flood level (12.00 m) Sunday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rain. Russell River: River levels are rising along the Russell River, areas of flooding are possible. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
