This has caused river level rises along the St Pauls River and the South Esk River. The St Pauls River at Lewis Hill peaked near the minor flood level Friday late morning. River levels are expected to continue easing slowly throughout the weekend. St Pauls River: Minor flooding is not longer expected along St Pauls River. The St Pauls River at Lewis Hill peaked at 1.60 m around 10:15 am Friday 5 June, around the minor flood level. The river is currently at 1.37 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The St Pauls River at Lewis Hill is expected to remain below the minor flood level (1.70 m). Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
