Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Minor Flood Warning For The North Esk River Issued at 02:58 PM AEST on Friday 19 June 2026 Flood Warning Number: 5 MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CORRA LINN OVERNIGHT FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY WITH FORECAST RAINFALL Rainfall over the past two days has caused river level rises along the North Esk River. The North Esk River at Corra Linn is peaking near the minor flood level. Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Friday which may cause renewed river level rises. Renewed minor flooding is possible along the North Esk River. Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn: Renewed minor flooding may occur along the North Esk River. The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 2.53 m and steady, peaking near the minor flood level. Renewed rises to near the minor flood level (2.70m) are possible along the North Esk River at Corra Linn overnight Friday into Saturday, with forecast rainfall. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
