River levels are likely to peak at Fingal around Friday afternoon. Rainfall is forecast to ease across the catchment for the remainder of Friday into Saturday. South Esk River - Fingal to Llewellyn: Minor flooding is occurring at Fingal. The South Esk River at Fingal is currently at 4.25 m and rising, with minor flooding. The South Esk River at Fingal is likely to peak near 4.40 m Friday afternoon, with minor flooding. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
